Nostos is the ancient Greek word for “homecoming” – a safe return after challenge or uncertainty. It reflects the outcome we strive to deliver for every client: clarity when it matters most.

The Nostos leadership team brings together more than 150 years of combined experience across specialty underwriting, claims, finance, operations and technology, having built and managed global insurance businesses through changing markets and complex risk.

CEO & Chief Underwriting Officer
Senior underwriting executive with over 25 years’ experience building and leading market-leading specialty insurance businesses across the Lloyd’s and global insurance markets. Extensive expertise in cyber, technology, professional lines, and specialty risks, with a proven track record of developing high-performing underwriting teams, driving strategic growth, and delivering organisational transformation. Widely recognised as a market leader, having received multiple industry awards for his contribution to the cyber insurance sector.

Chief Underwriting Officer
Adrian brings more than 35 years’ experience across the US and London markets, including broker, carrier, and MGA environments. He has managed extensively across international markets, with particular depth in Cyber and Financial Lines classes, and is recognised for trusted relationships, strategic insight, and hands-on underwriting leadership.

Corporate Finance Director
With 17 years’ experience across underwriting, finance, underwriting performance management, and strategy, Adnan provides deep expertise in data governance, performance analytics, and financial discipline. His experience underpins Nostos’s go-to-market strategy and long-term business fundamentals.

Stuart brings over 20 years’ experience in leadership, operations, and cyber—including senior COO and business delivery roles—driving execution, scalability, and service excellence. The management team’s expertise across underwriting, finance, compliance, claims, and technology enables Nostos to deliver and scale specialty insurance solutions globally.

James is a 25-year claims veteran and former Chief Claims Officer, recognised as a leader in cyber and incident response insurance. He brings deep expertise in claims innovation and maintains trusted relationships across global vendor and TPA networks.

Head of Strategic Partnerships
Paul has more than 35 years’ experience in insurance and reinsurance and is a highly regarded industry connector. He is known for building long-standing carrier and reinsurance relationships and turning strategic objectives into durable partnerships.
Jas Chahal
Chief Actuary
Jas is a Chief Actuary (non-life, Lloyd’s) with extensive experience across live and legacy (re)insurance in the Lloyd’s and London Market. He has held senior leadership roles overseeing reserving, pricing, and portfolio management, and is known for combining technical expertise with commercial judgement and pragmatic leadership.
